The loved ones of teens unaccounted for after a tragic fire at a bar in a Switzerland's ski resort are facing an painful wait for answers and appealing for clues about their children via social media.

The blaze devastated the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Alps of the Valais region, in the small hours of January 1st. Circulated footage show the ceiling being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are held aloft.

Emergency services have stated that it could take considerable time to identify the those who perished of the tragedy, which resulted in the death of 40 people and wounded another scores more. A spokesperson stated on the latest update that 113 of the those hurt have been identified, with efforts continuing to identify the other six.

In the interim, families and friends have been taking to online platforms to plead for any news about their friends who were present at the venue that fateful night.

Appeals for the Unaccounted For

One of his educators stated, "He was known for his kindness and smile, combined with great maturity. He would frequently offer to get me a coffee."

Alice Kallergis, who holds dual Greek and Swiss nationality but lives permanently in the country, was also at the bar on that night, according to sources.

Her sibling has posted an urgent request on social media, saying the relatives has had "no news" regarding the teenager or the three friends she was with, who are also reported missing.
