The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident

Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.

The renowned video game developer passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.

"This is a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
