We open with queries from Conservative MP the committee chair, that leads the group.
She commences by providing details to the leaked document written by Michael Prescott and published in a national newspaper.
"I do not desire the British Broadcasting Corporation slanting this way or that way, I simply desire it neutral, unbiased and just," he states.
In response to a query whether he believes the BBC is institutionally biased, he replies: "Absolutely not. It is important to note, a great deal the BBC produces is exceptional - encompassing factual and entertainment shows."
Nevertheless, he states: "There is substantial tasks that must be undertaken at the British Broadcasting Corporation."
The second former external BBC adviser examined by the panel, Caroline Daniel, says she takes the British Broadcasting Corporation with great importance and that it maintains a "persistent practice and vigorous discourse" across fluid and multifaceted topics.
"Was the BBC willing to conduct a genuine dialogue and exchange and implement changes?" she reflects. "As I see it, affirmative, they were."
